The Northern Region 19th Counsellors Conference 2024, organized by the Uganda Counselling Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, will be held on October 3rd and 4th, 2024, at Gulu University. Focusing on the theme Mainstreaming Trauma Informed Care, the conference will address urgent mental health issues, including trauma, substance abuse, and suicide. It aims to bring together professionals from various sectors to discuss strategies for improving trauma-informed care and mental health interventions across Uganda.

In a world where mental health issues are increasingly recognized as pivotal to overall well-being, the 3rd National Mental Health Conference 2024 by the Uganda Counselors Association stands as a beacon of hope and collaboration. Scheduled from the 28th to the 30th of May 2024, this event promises to be a cornerstone in the ongoing efforts to bolster mental health services across Uganda. The conference, themed “Strengthening Collaboration and Partnership for Better Mental Health Services in Uganda,” will be held at the Silver Springs Hotel in Bugolobi, Kampala, running daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
